Food Being Contaminated to Promote Vaccinations?

April 28, 2016

While vaccines are constantly promoted as a great cure – all that will eventually abolish ill health (and even death if you believe some vaccine enthusuasts,) apart from the debate over long term effectiveness, another point to consider, though you will see little mention of it in mainstream media, is the way vaccines and programmes that aim to vaccinate entire populations against diseases that will only ever affect small groups, have become a big driver of profits for pharmaceutical corporations.

This lengths to which goverments, corporate controlled media and drug corporations (aided and abetted by self interested ‘philanthopists’ like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg) are prepared to go in order to promote vaccines, and the determination to suppress free discussion of vaccine related issues and demonize people who question the efficacy of vaccine programmes ought to make any thinking person suspicious about what is going on.

Take a look at a few stories like the one told in the video below and you will almost certainly develop a healthy level of scepticism about the vaccine propaganda.

Why Should Britain Take advice From A Failed President

April 24, 2016

Barack Obama did his legacy no favours this week when, having his been persuaded by his bum chum Dave to intervene on the side of the REMAIN campaign in the EU rReferendum, instead of adopting the tone of a non – partisan bystander simply offering an opinion, his efforts to persuade British voters to vote REMAIN contained veiled and unveiled threats.

Janet Daley, an American by birth now resident in Britain wrote an excelent pice on it for The Daily Telegraph:

Why should we take advice from a president who has surrendered the world to chaos?

I wonder who in Downing Street briefed Barack Obama’s team on the wording of his friendly warning to the British. Somebody obviously pointed out that the population of this country retained a quaint obsession with the Second World War, and would therefore treat any reference to the glorious dead as irreproachable. So the President invoked the European graves of those American servicemen who died to protect – well, what exactly?

I thought it was the democratic values and reverence for national independence that Britain shared with the US. Did Mr Obama have any sense at all that what he was now urging the British electorate to accept was precisely the surrender of those sacred principles of democratically accountable government and self-determination for which the combined American and British forces had made their ultimate sacrifice?

Read the rest of this at The Daily Telegraph

It was, even by Obama’s usual Bizarro World standards a weird and ill informed statement. As anyone who knows any 2-th century history ought to be aware it was not the arrival of American troops that broke Hitler, but the Russian winter.

If we extract Obama’s La-la land babbling his advice on our future relationship with the EU came down to trade advantages and the global interests of US corporate capitalism. Mr Obama even made specific reference in his article in Friday’s Daily Telegraph to the importance of current negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), which would reduce barriers to US business interests in the European Union, although on that he was either lying or idiotically ignorant of what is going on (EU-US Trade Deal Close To Abandonment As Yanks Refuse To Lift Protectionism says German trade minister)

On the same day as Obama uttered his utterly stupid remarks, 38 Degrees – a militant faction in the public sector unions – took out full-page newspaper adverts campaigning against the adoption of TTIP (“…no trade deal should give corporations more power than people”). If the Labour Left were not in such disingenuous disarray, they could be making political capital out of this, but unfortunately the lifelong student activist Jeremy Corbyn , like other recent labour leaders, has become besotted with wealth and power and is toeing the establishment line, albeit half heartedly. In any event, unnamed US trade officials were being ominously quoted as saying that, in the event of Brexit, there would be no question of ‘Britain being too small to have a separate trade deal with the USA because Oman and a number of small nations already have such free trade deals.

Treasure Trove Of ISIS Documents Detail Secret Oil Trade With Turkey

March 27, 2016

russia-turkey-isis-oil_ap-676x450

Russian officials show satellite images of what they claim are ISIS tankers entering and leaving a Turkish oil terminal

When a three star Russian general strolled into the US Embassy in Baghdad on September 30 of last year, US personnel were taken aback by what he said: “If you have forces in the area we request they leave. Airstrikes start in one hour.”

That was the beginning of Russia’s intervention in Syria and it took the US completely off guard. It was vintage Putin and even the Russian President’s detractors couldn’t help but chuckle. Over the next 30 days, a relentless air campaign carried out by Moscow’s warplanes rolled back anti-Assad elements in Latakia while the IRGC and Hezbollah moved into position for an assault on Aleppo.

Then, on November 24, disaster struck. Turkey shot down a Russian Su-24 near the Syrian border. One of the pilots was killed.

In the hours after the plane crashed, the world held its breath. Putin, the West figured, would respond with force. Fears only grew when the FSA’s First Coastal Division published a video on YouTube that appeared to show a fighter using a US-made TOW to destroy a Russian search and rescue helicopter.

And then, just when it appeared that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was set to plunge NATO into a world war with the Russians and the Iranians, Putin did something no one expected. Instead of sending the long range bombers to Ankara, he addressed reporters while sitting next to Jordan’s King Abdullah and flatly said the following: “ISIS gets money by selling oil to Turkey.”

Over the next two weeks, The Kremlin launched a relentless PR campaign complete with satellite images and detailed slide decks showing what the Russians claimed was unequivocal evidence of Erdogan’s complicity in the illicit (and highly lucrative) ISIS oil trade.

Sergei Lavrov and Maria Zakharova heaped on the pressure and before long, the entire international community began to look with skepticism upon Ankara’s contention that Turkey is as an eager and sincere partner in the “war” on ISIS.

By that time, we had of course documented the Turkey connection exhaustively in the following four-part series:

In the fourth post listed above, we detailed the route by which ISIS transports illegal, undocumented crude to Turkey via Zakho-based smugglers and how that crude ends up at Ceyhan where tanker rates seem to mysteriously spike around ISIS-related oil events. All of this, we suggested, was done with the help of the Turkish government up to and including Erdogan’s son Bilal who owns a shipping company that helps facilitate the transport and sale of oil from the KRG.

The Iraqi Kurds, we remarked, produce some 600,000 b/d of undocumented, technically illegal oil which everyone knows Turkey transports. Turkey can thus claim plausible deniability given that Islamic State production is but a fraction of that and given that once ISIS crude crosses the border from Iraq into Turkey, it’s indistinguishable from KRG oil.

Lacking in all of this was hard evidence. Sure, Russia had video and images purporting to show oil tankers streaming across Turkey’s highly porous border with Syria, but proving that the government in Ankara was directly involved, let alone buying the oil, was well nigh impossible. Now, RT has released a new documentary which, in addition to depicting official ISIS oil ledgers, features interviews with what the filmmakers say are captured ISIS fighters. You can watch the film for yourself below, but suffice to say, it delivers compelling evidence of Turkey’s role in funding and supporting Islamic State:

Meanwhile, even NBC is running items implicating Erdogan and his son in the ISIS oil smuggling business and we have to say we’re impressed: the broadcast news network is only six months behind the curve this time. There’s usually a 2-3 year
lag.

Will There Be A Coup In Turkey?

March 27, 2016

Angela my little shish – kebab, when you are the autocrat of a mighty Islamic Caliphate as I am you will be able to sit in fuck off chairs like these and look down on the filthy masses.

We have chronicled the progress of Turkey’s President Erdogan as he moved to make himself Sultan of the new Ottoman Empire, the way he acted as a courier, ordering his military forces to supply the ISIS terrorists in Syrian and Iraq with armaments, while he and his family profited from illicit oil trade, buying crude oil stolen from well id Syria and Iraq and selling it in western markets.

In fact we even reported how witnesses said everybody in Turkey was aware of Erdogan’s criminaly. In spite of all this, and Turkey’s appalling record on human rights, European Union and NATO leaders courted courted the dictator, Europe offering cash and EU membership in return for help slowing the tide of illegal immigrants flowing into Europe, the US led NATO military alliance for Erdogan’s support in the effort to depose Syria’s President Assad, whose Shia Muslim regime presented the last obstacle to a US / Saudi Arabian plan to push a pipe line from oil and gas fields on the Persian Gulf to the oil terminals on the eastern Mediterranean coast.

Now we hear that, somewhat belatedly, there are signs of a movement to overthrow the Erdogan regime in Turkey. While such a move would have the support of Russia, the USA and NATO would not be happy to lose such an easily bribed ally as the corrupt Turkish regime. So the would could be about to move yet another step closer to World War Three.

The situation in Turkey is bad and getting worse. It’s not just the deterioration in security amidst a wave of terrorism. Public debt might be stable, but private debt is out-of-control, the tourism sector is in free-fall, and the decline in the currency has impacted every citizen’s buying power. There is a broad sense, election results notwithstanding, that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is out-of-control. He is imprisoning opponents, seizing newspapers left and right, and building palaces at the rate of a mad sultan or aspiring caliph. In recent weeks, he has once again threatened to dissolve the constitutional court. Corruption is rife. His son Bilal reportedly fled Italy on a forged Saudi diplomatic passport as the Italian police closed in on him in an alleged money laundering scandal. His outbursts are raising eyebrows both in Turkey and abroad. Even members of his ruling party whisper about his increasing paranoia which, according to some Turkish officials, has gotten so bad that he seeks to install anti-aircraft missiles at his palace to prevent airborne men-in-black from targeting him in a snatch-and-grab operation.

Turks — and the Turkish military — increasingly recognize that Erdogan is taking Turkey to the precipice. By first bestowing legitimacy upon imprisoned Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan with renewed negotiations and then precipitating renewed conflict, he has taken Turkey down a path in which there is no chance of victory and a high chance of de facto partition. After all, if civil war renews as in the 1980s and early 1990s, Turkey’s Kurds will be hard-pressed to settle for anything less, all the more so given the precedent now established by their brethren in Iraq and Syria.

Erdogan long ago sought to kneecap the Turkish military. For the first decade of his rule, both the US government and European Union cheered him on. But that was before even Erdogan’s most ardent foreign apologists recognized the depth of his descent into madness and autocracy. So if the Turkish military moves to oust Erdogan and place his inner circle behind bars, could they get away with it?

Turkey is blackmailing the EU over the migrant crisis, Vojtech Filip, leader of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia province of the Czech Republic commented on the EU-Turkey summit in Brussels. “It is necessary to strictly reject an attempt by Turkey to blackmail the European Union,” the Filip said.

The opinion is not held only by political leaders of the left in Czech politics, prominent figures in parties of the right right shared his opinion, including the Civic Democratic Party, the website Ceske Noviny reported.

According to him, like a stereotypical blackmailer The Turkish government in Ankara is not implementing the agreements it reached earlier with Brussels, and will not say what happened to the money it was given ‘for help in reducing the flow of illegal immigrants’, in fact the numbers of illegal immigrants increased. Instead of acting to stop the traffic from Turkey to the Greek Islands, Turkey’s gangster- like President Recep Erdogan simply demands a few €billions more without offering any firm guarantees that he will keep his end of the bargain. It is then an indication of how corrupt the politicians of the EU and USA are that, in order to further their own geopolitical goals they are prepared not only to deal with these gangsters but to sacrifice all the advances towards nationhood the people of Kurdistan have made over several decades to Erdogan’s territorial ambitions.

Amnesty: Turkey An ‘Unsafe Country’, EU’s Migrant Deal Is ‘Morally And Legally Flawed’

A draft European Union plan to send back some migrants to Turkey has legal and moral flaws and could put vulnerable people at risk, the head of Amnesty International said, calling on Europe to take in more people seeking refuge instead.

Under a tentative deal struck last Monday, Turkey agreed to take back illegal migrants who enter Europe from Turkey, in exchange for more funding, an earlier introduction of visa-free travel to Europe for Turks, and a speeding up of Ankara’s long-stalled EU membership talks.

“It’s flawed, morally and legally,” Amnesty International Secretary General Salil Shetty told Reuters in Dubai.
[ … ]
Leaders will meet again this week at an EU summit as they face Europe’s largest migration crisis since World War Two.

“They are saying it does not breach EU law because Turkey is a safe country. By what stretch of the imagination is Turkey a safe country for these people?” Shetty said.

Turkey has said the deal would not stop Syrian refugees legitimately seeking shelter in Europe. Turkey and EU leaders say they want to discourage illegal migrants and stop smugglers.

But the United Nations and rights groups say mass returns without considering individual asylum cases could be illegal. Amnesty says Europe should take in its fair share of the millions seeking refugee and spend more on those who remain in the region.

Merkel Should Braced For Disaster As Polls Conflict On Election Prospects

March 13, 2016

The results of Sunday’s regional elections in Germany may become a disaster for Chancellor Angela Merkel, according to the German news network Deutsche Welle.

Regional elections in Germany are more unpredictable than ever before, and they could have a big impact on the fate of Chancellor Angela Merkel and her party, the Christian Democratic Union, Deutsche Welle reported,   according to opinion polls ahead of Sunday’s regional elections in the country.

Also, the state legislature elections of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saxony-Anhalt may affect the balance of power in the federal government, German political commentators predict. Merkel heads a fragile coalition dependent on the support of several smaller parties. If the Chancellor becomes a liability these may desert the government leaking Merkel vulnerable to a ‘no confidence’ vote.

When asked how she was preparing for the Sunday elections, Merkel, in turn, admitted that she “will have to keep her fingers crossed.”

Deutsche Welle reported that the Sunday elections could see the ever-increasing popularity ratings of the right-wing German party Alternative for Germany (AfD), which finished third in municipal elections in the country’s central state of Hesse on March 6 propelled to power in state legislatures. It is unlikely Germany would see a ‘grand coalition’ of socialist and conservative such as was cooked up inin France’s regional election to keep the anti – immigarant, anti – EU party Front National, which won the popular vote, out of power.

The stitch up has in fact increased the popularity of Front National and pushed France closer to civil unrest.

If the AfD manages to make it to the parliaments of the three German states, this populist anti-immigrant party will be able to block the German government’s decisions in the future, Deutsche Welle pointed out.

Ex-Bank of England Chief: Euro Is ‘Disaster Zone Dominated by Germans’

March 12, 2016

from Breitbart London

The euro currency union has been a disaster that has led the German dominance of the European Union (EU), and is doomed to failure, the former head of the Bank of England has warned.

In an extraordinary attack on the Eurozone, Lord (Mervyn) King said the euro had weakened Europe politically and economically, and Germany’s rise to power on the continent had created “enormous tensions”.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, the former central banker said: “The attempt to create a monetary union has been damaging economically, and it has been damaging politically.

“There are no good ways out of it. It’s only a question of the least bad way.”

One of the most damaging consequences of the currency union, he added, was Germany’s rising power. To make it work, stronger Eurozone nations have had to bail out weaker ones such as Greece, Portugal and Ireland.

Germany has been the biggest lender, but due to a political backlash from voters fed up with their taxes paying for other countries, has insisted on tough austerity measures.

“As a consequence of monetary union, Germany has become the dominant economic, and therefore political, power,” Lord King said.

“So the tensions between, say, Greece and Germany, are greater now than before. The tensions between Italy and Germany are greater.

“Rather than create political warmth and good feelings, and co-operation, the single currency has created enormous tensions.”

This is the second time Lord King has spoken out on the issue. Earlier this month, he said the currency union had failed and created enormous tensions in the continent.

Euroskeptics Slam ‘Dodgy Data’ as UK Govt Warns of Brexit Economic Problems

March 12, 2016

The UK government has been accused of lacking “self-confidence” following the release of a report warning of an “economic shock” if Britain left the EU. Euroskeptics have dismissed the findings as nothing more than a “dodgy dossier” and MPs have continued to trade blows over the Brexit issue.

The government warned that plans to exit the bloc would leave the country “weaker, less safe and worse off” in a report exploring Britain’s potential post-EU options.

Investigating the respective EU agreements negotiated between Norway, Switzerland and Canada, the government’s “detailed assessment” warned that British businesses would face long periods of uncertainty if the country was to vote to leave the bloc in June’s referendum on EU membership.

Despite the government warnings, Euroskeptics criticized the findings as being overly pessimistic. Leader of the Commons Chris Grayling described the findings as lacking “self-confidence”, while rebel minster Iain Duncan Smith revived memories of the Iraq war by labeling the report a “dodgy dossier.”

Pentagon: US Ground Troops Involved in Somalia Raid

March 10, 2016

Pentagon officials have confirmed that US ground troops were involved in a raid against an al-Shabaab-held town in Somalia, arriving by helicopter in a raid which also involved Somali forces, and which they say killed “more than 10″ fighters.

The US rarely discusses its troops in Somalia, which are nominally “advisers,” Officials suggested today that the troops were again in an “advisory” role and that they didn’t go “all the way” in the raid. They were involved enough that al-Shabaab confirmed their presence.

Shabaab reported that the attack only killed one of their fighters, and only attacked a single checkpoint, as opposed to an entire town. Somali officials suggested the attack was aimed at an “illegal taxation checkpoint.”

This disputed death toll comes after a massive US drone strike against Somalia, which US officials claim killed over 150, Somali officials claim killed over 200, and which al-Shabaab insisted killed far less, maintaining they never have that many of their fighters together in a single place.

Snowden: FBI Claim That Only Apple Can Unlock iPhone Is Bullshit

March 10, 2016
Mar. 8 2016, 10:00 p.m.

NSA Whistleblower Ed Snowden – Photo: Common Cause

NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden says the FBI’s ostensibly last-ditch attempt to unlock San Bernardino shooter Syed Rizwan Farook’s iPhone is a sham.

The FBI last month persuaded a federal judge that the only way to get into the phone was to make Apple write code to undermine its own security protocols. Apple is refusing to comply.

“The FBI says Apple has the ‘exclusive technical means’” to unlock the phone, Snowden said during a discussion at Common Cause’s Blueprint for Democracy conference.

“Respectfully, that’s bullshit,” he said, over a video link from Moscow.

Here’s the discussion, which also included Malkia Cyril, executive director of the Center for Media Justice, and Dan Froomkin, Washington editor of The Intercept. The comments in question come at about the 30-minute mark.

A Conversation On Surveillance

Snowden further explained on Twitter: “The global technological consensus is against the FBI,” he wrote — linking to a blog post on the American Civil Liberties Union website explaining exactly how the FBI could have bypassed the iPhone’s auto-erase function on its own. That’s “one example,” he wrote.

Other technologists have explained how the FBI could have easily accessed the phone’s latest iCloud backup if agents working with San Bernardino County had not reset the iCloud password.
